The main purpose of the Public Relations and Advertisement Department, by providing training for the aim of internationalization, is  to train professional Public Relations and Advertising professionals who are able to integrate theoretical knowledge and practice, to be aware of social responsibility, to respect universal ethical values ​​and to present creative organizations in line with these ethical values, to be able to use new media and to reflect the technology of today.

With the effect of globalization, the need for the profession is increasing day by day. The graduates of our department, where education is given for the purpose of internationalization, are taught by public and private institutions, corporate communication, advertising, press and public relations, etc. required in many departments.

Due to the nature of the Public Relations and Advertisement profession, considering the necessity of all individuals, institutions and organizations, it is an undeniable fact that career opportunities are broad on sectoral basis.  In this context, the need for the profession in the global world we are in is increasing and its importance emerges.

Graduates of the Department of Public Relations and Advertisement can be employed as public relations and advertising experts in the public and private organizations, also under the titles of brand communication and brand management responsible, corporate communication expert, advertising designer, advertising author, or media planning experts. Students who wish to pursue academic career in this field can continue their academic studies by postgraduate programs.
