INTERIOR ARCHITECTURE AND ENVIRONMENTAL DESIGN (ENGLISH)

Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design; aims to train interior architects who specialize in interior architecture and human-environment relations, which can develop innovative, original and sustainable new ideas, possible problems and different arrangements of interior and surroundings in design and planning fields as a first step in lifelong learning in four year undergraduate education.

To train interior architects who can solve the possible problems of interior space and its environment in the fields of design and planning with innovative, original and sustainable ideas, and who specialize in interior architecture and human-environment relations; It is the aim of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, which it continues today and aims to continue in the future. In the future, as it is today, interior architects will continue to be trained with local, regional, national and cultural sensitivity and in accordance with ethical values.

Graduates of the Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design; at the end of the second and third year, they begin their first vocational career.   When they graduate, they have the opportunity to work in a wide range of architecture and interior design offices, construction teams and private or governmental institutions. They can make an academic career in areas related to their departments.

The Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design can be a suitable profession for people who can be open to innovations, have creative thinking ability, are interested in visual arts, are open to self-development, have the ability to produce solutions and have a high aesthetic perception.
