OPERATING ROOM SERVICES

The aim of the Operating Room Services Program is to train qualified operating room technicians equipped with professional knowledge and skills who can effectively support the healthcare team before, during, and after surgical procedures performed in the operating room environment, in accordance with patient safety and sterility principles.

The Operating Room Services Program continues to grow in importance in line with the increasing number of surgical procedures in healthcare, technological advancements, and patient safety-focused approaches. It is anticipated that graduates of this program will continue to play a significant role in meeting the need for qualified auxiliary healthcare personnel in both public and private healthcare institutions in the future.

Graduates of this program can work in operating rooms and related units with the title of "Operating Room Technician". Graduates can continue their undergraduate education in their field through the Vertical Transfer Examination (DGS).
