INTERNATIONAL TRADE AND FINANCE (ENGLISH)

Department of International Trade and Finance aims to train the leaders of the future who are able to provide fast and accurate solutions to the problems encountered in working life and who are able to adapt to the changing world conditions and requirements and can easily use technological innovations. In this context, the aim and priority of the program is to provide the reasons behind the increasing global relations and the results of commercial globalization in both theoretical and practical terms to students at both local and international levels. In addition to the current foreign trade strategies in the field, students will be able to internalize international trade concepts and practices, support the development of qualified human resources in line with the needs and orientations of the global structure, are equipped with interdisciplinary information, take part in the work of local and global enterprises, focus on increasing the commercial scale and performance, and understand international competition and their policies and developments.

We live in a century where globalization accelerates with digital technologies, economic difficulties and conflicts completely affect the world economy and financial system, and the economic wealth and power of nations are measured entirely by their effectiveness and leadership in international trade and international financial markets. Thanks to economic and political integrations, foreign trade, especially financing, is emerging as the new attraction center of the business and scientific world. It is obvious that qualified human resources trained in the field of international trade and finance will be a greater need today and in the future, both in the public and private sectors.

The Graduates of International Trade and Finance Department can be employed in international organizations and multinational enterprises related with foreign trade activities in the private sector, as an executive assistant, manager, assistant specialist or expert; the Ministry of Economy in the public sector, the Ministry of Customs and Trade. In addition, our current curriculum offers a wide range of opportunities for our students and graduates to choose an academic career.

Under a circumstances whereby globalization level is too high, students who aims to be  the managers and owners of foreign trade companies and  who aims to manage companies with a capability of  understanding and finding solutions to the problems that arise in multinational and international businesses, where people from different countries work together may be a suitable choice for people who like to use and manage instruments such as stocks and financial derivatives
