TURKISH LANGUAGE AND LITERATURE

New Media and Communication Department, which was found in 2015-2016 academic year, aims to educate qualified individuals of the age during undergraduate education with the tecnology that is appropriate and intagrates its internationalization standards. It is an interdisciplinary department and has emerged with the replacement of written and visual media tools, namely traditional media, to digital media. New media can be described as the transition from offline media to online media. Primary purpose of the programme is to gain knowledge and skills in the new media field such as communication and society, history of media, new media, traditional media, virtual reality, wearable technologies, artificial intelligence, new communication technologies, publishing, internet journalism, new media policies, viral marketing, interactive media, and digital culture.

Our students who graduated from New Media and Communication will have the oppotunity to work in every sector that intagrated with the technology. With the increasing demand day by day, our graduates can work with titles such as new media experts, social media experts, journalist, SEO expert, website editor, producer, digital marketing specialist, communication consultant, web design and application specialist, communication manager, professional researcher, digital marketing consultant, and adwords specialist in both public and private sectors. Our students who want to progress academically in the field of new media and communication, if they complete the necessary conditions, can continue their careers as academicians at international standards.
